Audition for The 2010 - 2011 Season

What: Open auditions for The Nutcracker and Ballet Northwest's 2010-2011 dance company.
When:
      Saturday, October 2, 2010
            2pm - Company Auditions ages 12 +
            3:30pm - The Nutcracker Auditions ages 8-9
            5pm - The Nutcracker Auditions ages 10-14 (non Company)
      Sunday, October 3
            3pm - Company call-backs by invitation only
            3pm - Mandatory Company Parent Meeting
      Sunday, October 10
             6pm - Mandatory Nutcracker Parent Meeting (for non-Company parents)
Where: Johansen Olympia Dance Center
Requirements: Dancers who are at least age 8 by August 31 may audition for The Nutcracker.
To audition for the Company, dancers must be 12 years old by August 31 and enrolled in at least two intermediate ballet classes a week at any studio. Company dancers will participate in both The Nutcracker and Cinderella.

Download and print an audition form and bring it with you to the auditions on Saturday, October 2.

The financial cost of providing dance opportunities through Ballet Northwest is high and requires a commitment of each dancer. The Company Fee is $250.00. Participation Fee for dancing in The Nutcracker is $125.
We accept Visa, MasterCard and checks (payable to Ballet Northwest).

The Board of Directors of Ballet Northwest understands that the company fee may put financial strain on some families. Partial Fee Waiver applications are available. These requests will be reviewed for financial need and kept confidential. You will be notified if your request has been approved. Dancers must pay the fee or submit a Partial Fee Waiver application to be able to participate in the productions.
